Get a TI-82, TI-83, TI-83+, TI-85, AND TI-86 emulator for your phone!
ROM NOT INCLUDED. Due to a request from TI, this app will NOT WORK until you EXTRACT the ROM from YOUR OWN CALCULATOR. See http://supware.net/roms for details. (This is similar to other emulators on the market: GameBoid, SNESoid, GBAEmulator, NESoid, psx4droid, etc)
The TI-8X series of calculators work great as standalone calculators, showing 8 lines of history, using standard mathematical notation. Each model was designed with more specific purposes in mind:
The TI-82 is designed for algebra and trigonometry. Graph and compare functions, perform variable substitution, and solve single variable equations.
The TI-83 is designed for statistics and trigonometry. Graph and compare functions, and perform data plotting and analysis.
The TI-85 is great for engineering and computer science. Graph and compare functions, perform bit manipulation and convert between numeric bases.
The TI-86 is great for engineering and calculus. Graph and compare functions, perform bit manipulation and convert between numeric bases. Solve differential equations, plot vector fields.
All models allow you to write programs in TI-BASIC and perform basic scientific calculator operations. Andie Graph is a TI-82, TI-83, TI-85, TI-86 emulator based on source code from Marat Fayzullin (http://fms.komkon.org/ATI85/).

FAQs
- Will you add support for my Galaxy S2?
The Galaxy S2 isn’t supported because I’ve received MANY reports of it crashing on original Samsung TouchWiz firmware. (NOTE: it appears to work ok with CyanogenMod on the SGSII phones). I don’t have a way to test&debug on the Galaxy S2. I would like to though! I will set aside donations (http://dougmelton.com/donate) for the purchase of a Galaxy S2 phone. Out of about 245k downloads, I’ve received a total of $209 in donations ($0.0009 per download). If you think this app is worth more than $0.0009, or if you’d like it to work on your Galaxy S2, please donate! Once I receive $400 (or the going Ebay price for this device), I’ll use it to buy a Galaxy S2 and debug it for your device.

- Will you add support for my Android 1.5 phone / TV? Why isn’t Andie Graph showing up in the market for my phone?
Some phones aren’t supported. Any phones with Android 1.5 or older aren’t supported because Andie Graph uses the NDK, which was introduced with 1.6 (Donut). TV’s aren’t supported because Andie Graph requires a touch screen and portrait orientation (but I’m working on supporting both of those). - Will you add support for TI-89/TI-89ti/TI-92/TI-Nspire/TI Voyage 200?
I would like to but I have no idea how long it will take. These are based on a completely different hardware architecture than the TI-82/3/5/6. While those use a Zilog Z80 CPU, the TI-89/92/V200 series use a Motorola 68k CPU, and the TI-Nspire uses an ARM CPU. So that means that adding support for these would require a completely different emulator backend. Still, it would be nice. If you’d like to try another app that offers TI-89 support, check out Graph 89. - Will you add support for TI-83+SE/TI-84/TI-84+/TI-84+SE?
While it should be technically relatively easy to add support for these (because they’re based on the same Zilog Z80 CPU of the others), they are not currently supported. Each model has a different set of minor differences (like different memory offsets). The author of AlmostTI, Marat Fayzullin, hasn’t yet added compatibility for these in his emulator. Since Andie Graph uses AlmostTI for its emulation engine, it can’t support those until AlmostTI does. - Why does it not work / just show a picture / is non-responsive? / The ROM is missing / I can’t find the ROM / The emulator is not finding the ROM / What is an emulator / How do I download a ROM?
Due to a request from Texas Instruments, the ROM can no longer be included with this app. The only way to legally obtain a ROM is to extract it from a calculator that you already own. Please follow the instructions on ticalc.org (http://dougmelton.com/roms) for how to do that. - I have a ROM but it’s not found. What should the file name be?
The file can be placed anywhere on the SD card, and its name must contain “ti” and “82″ (or “83″ or “85″ or “86″) and it must be the specific size, shown below. If your ROM is not the correct size, it’s a good chance that it’s not the right thing.Model Filename Size (bytes) TI-82 TI82.ROM 131,072 TI-83 TI83.ROM 262,144 TI-83+ TI83P.ROM 524,288 NOTE: only v1.13 or earlier ROMs supported. TI-85 TI85.ROM 131,072 TI-86 TI86.ROM 262,144 - I loaded my ROM and the buttons still appear to work but nothing is showing up on the screen. Why does it still not work?
The underlying emulator, AlmostTI, doesn’t like your ROM for some reason. Either it’s a TI-83+ rom newer than v1.13, or the ROM file is corrupted/somehow unsupported, or you happened to have a file that Andie Graph thinks is a ROM that actually isn’t. - Can I add/upload programs / use the link port?
No, but I want those features myself. They’re not available with AlmostTI, so therefore not available on Andie Graph either, but I’ve talked to the author of AlmostTI about adding those. He’s hesitant to give out updated source code for AlmostTI. As far as features to be added to Andie Graph, that one is on the top of my TODO list. - Help! My emulator is frozen / locked up / buttons don’t work / screen shows random garbage.
Sometimes the RAM gets saved in a bad state. Locate the appropriate .RAM file from the same directory on your SD card where you copied the .ROM file, and delete it! This will reset your calculator. (If you have Andy-83, Andy-85, or Andy-86, instead clear the app’s private data by going to your phone’s system settings -> applications -> manage applications -> Andy-83 -> Clear Data).
