We went up to Valencia for the weekend, for Easter dinner at Grandpa's house. I took the helicopter and duly impressed Dad and Josh. Mom was about as impressed as Erin was. Erin also had some Behind the Bride meetings with her new clients (Dawn and Josh). They have their own website, dawnandjosh.info. We stopped by Jyenny's on the way home. It was fun times.
We spent a 4 day weekend in Oxnard, in a beach house that the 'rents rented for the week. It was cloudy the whole time but it was still lots of fun. Josh & Dawn were there while we were, so the 6 of us relaxed, played games, read magazines, ate snacks, played on the beach, took walks, ate some more snacks, ate meals, ate desserts, and slept. On the way home, we took PCH and drove by CSUCI and some really pretty scenery.
Last night we took Erin's mom to a play high up on a mountaintop. The theater was outside, the view was gorgeous, and the play (Singin' in the Rain) was pretty good too. It's about one of the first movies with sound, and unfortunately for the leading lady, her voice was not cut out for the talkies. She sounded a bit like Fran Drescher (which is never a good thing). Anyway, it was a fun night.
Last night Mom, Pop, Doug and I went to CCT's production of Singing in the Rain. Doug and I treated for Mom's birthday. It was fun and seeing it on top of Mt. Helix is beautiful!
The weekend was great; two nights of fireworks, lots of yummy food, lots of time with family and friends, and beautiful weather! How much better can it get?!
We went up to E&T's house to celebrate the 3rd of July with the fam. It was cool, even the grandparents were there!
Mom and I had the best time last night! We went on a few errands and then we went shoppin'! We ate at dinner CPK (yummy Spinach Artichoke Dip) and then treated ourselves to Coffee Bean! I am so very lucky to have her 
The family came down for the weekend, and everyone helped with the house. We bought 9 gallons of wall paint and 10 gallons of ceiling paint. The girls painted the living room and the kitchen (which is quite a large undertaking). Dad and I sorta stayed out of their way and did a couple non-painting tasks. Then when all that was done, we went joined Erin's parents at Casa de Pico de Gallo in Old Town for dinner. Sunday, we MS Walked with TierraNet and toured the wedding site.
