I got a new toy yesterday: a miniature wireless video camera! So, I hooked it up with my 2nd newest toy, my RC helicopter, and now we have endless possibilities… the first video I made is a tour of my garage. Well, it's actually more like a tour of the driveway and the house across the street, but you must admit, the possibilities really are endless.

Flying birthday present
So, since I am probably in the top 2% of people in the "hard to buy birthday presents for" category, I received a lotta cash this year for my birthday. I decided to spend it on a Remote Control Helicopter! I also got a really nice case & better battery w/ 2x as much flying capacity. And here's what I expect to be doing in a couple weeks
. Well… those kind of tricks might take a little longer… But here's what I expect to be doing in a couple months. Of course, you know me, I have to put a computer in everything!
Coke bottle rocket
My parents came down for a weekend visit. Erin was doing her fourth profession, wedding photography, for half the day but we still managed to have a fun even though she wasn't around. We went to Arby's for lunch and then came home and built a coke bottle rocket, using the plans in Make Magazine as an inspiration (of course, with us two Engineers working on it, we upgraded the design a little). The 'rents hadn't been here in over 6 months, so they got to see our new living room furniture and completely renovated guest bathroom.
Unfolding, a flash game

Bluetooth streaming radio
It's official. I just streamed my first internet radio station straight to my ear. 94.9FM -> internet -> wireless phone -> Bluespoon. The quality wasn't all that great by the time it got to my ear but that can only get better with bandwidth. I can't wait to listen to that at the gym, it's so not nerdy at all! I'm only one step away from having my entire music collection (and anybody else's too, actually) in my ear.
Super nerdy toy
Ok, I couldn't resist, this is just too nerdy/cool. Apparently, you can actually play video games on the side of a building in France, just by calling up a number and using the keys on your phone. They have Tetris, Pong, Pac-Man, and Breakout. You can even play pong with 2 players! If I ever own an office building, it's totally gonna have this ability!
