New look, same great blog

Hopefully you've noticed that I've updated my website. I stopped using my custom written wiki software and switched to a really nice open source cms/blogging system, WordPress. Erin and I are going to both be contributing to this single blog, so this is like your one stop D&E blogging shop. Also, you can add comments, search, and check out the RSS feed.

New web site

It may not look all that different, but supbro.com has a completely new design. Its roots are based upon something we nerds like to call a "wiki". The basic idea of a wiki is that anyone visiting the site can edit it. For instance, to create a new page on this site, all you would do is type the name in that input box on the left, click go, and then you will be able to click a link to edit it! Fun, eh? Try it out!

Quzzle

I saw this article on slashdot about a brain teaser game, and it got me thinking. I wanted to see if I could solve it. So I whipped up a little flash applet (since I can do that now). I still haven't been able to solve it… let me know if you can. The point is to get the big 2×2 square from the top left corner to the bottom right corner. UPDATE: I solved it!

Flashy additions

I've been spending a lot of time lately learning Flash, and finally got my first flashy website addition up…check out my dynamic supbro.com logo (hint: reload the page)! I think there's an appropriate time and place for flash. I refuse to make annoying stuff, so don't worry. Just enjoy coming to sb.c :) As a bonus, the new flasy logo is only 1391 bytes instead of a whopping 28764 for the old version!
